   Davos, það er rétt hjá þér, þetta er texti frá John Lennon

   The lyric is based on a campaign in late 1969 by Lennon and Ono, who rented billboards and posters in eleven major cities around the world that read: “WAR IS OVER! (If You Want It) Happy Christmas from John and Yoko”. In 1971, the US was deeply entrenched in the unpopular Vietnam War. The line “War is over, if you want it, war is over, now!”, as sung by the background vocals, was taken directly from the billboards.

   Getur einhver útskýrt fyrir mér afhverju ég tengi þetta “War is over” við John Lennon?

   By the way, mér finnst John Lennon betri tónlistarmaður en Bubbi.

   Sumir vilja meina að blóðþyrstir hafi sent einn mind controlaðan vitleysing á Lennon fyrir að segja “heimskulegar” setningar eins og t.d. “Give Peace a Chance”.

   Sá sem drap Lennon settist síðan niður og flúði ekki af vettvangi heldur fór að lesa bók.
